The Human Resources Executive will support strategic, commercial, and operational Human Resources advice to support the business in making effective workforce decisions. This position will partner with relevant stakeholders and use people analytics to coach, guide and advise on organizational design, talent management, learning and development, reward, and risk management.
• Responsible for full spectrum of HR functions and daily operations including recruitment, employee orientation, employee confirmation, compensation & benefits, employee engagement, performance management, employment contract renewals, training, payroll, preparation & submission of CPF, IR8A, IR8E, IR21.
• Provide professional, business-focused HR services and conduct business partnering duties.
• Build strong working relationships based on credibility and open communication.
• Take a coaching approach and provide management information to facilitate effective, consistent, empowering people management - expecting and enabling managers to assume increasing responsibility for all aspects of people management.
• Work in partnership with the key managers and Management to identify the people implications of strategic and business plans and other developments.
• Experience in providing counselling to the team members when needed including performance, ethics.
• As the organization is a lean team, the Human Resources Executive must be willing to be hands on at operational level such as writing JD, conducting interviews, handling staff queries around benefits.
• Ensure quality data management of HR records, and information in personnel files and HRIS, in accordance with company policies, labour regulations and audit guidelines.
• Manage all work pass applications (applications, renewals, appeals) and ensure that all Company and employee information are tracked and updated accurately with MOM
• Manage medical benefits, insurance, work injury claims and ensure prompt follow up.
• Process monthly payroll runs which include payment of salaries, allowances, bonuses, increments, deductions, claims reimbursements, CPF, income tax submission.
• Address any staff queries and follow up accordingly
• Handle company events and employee engagement initiatives
• Manage and submit required grants in relation to training, handling submission of NS make up pay and Government paid leaves.
• Handle and provide company information for surveys including those required by Statutory Government bodies.
• Ensure timely & accurate payroll payments while complying to the relevant legislations & stipulated Company’s policies & guidelines.
• Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities when required or as instructed.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in hands-on HR admin functions
• Professional company representation
• Experience and knowledge in the IT Industry would be advantegeous
• Demonstrated experience bringing forward valuable insights to digitize HR process.
• Experience in workforce optimization, organizational design, talent management, and leadership development.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders across all levels.
• Strong business acumen and commercial understanding.
• Minimum Diploma in Business/Human Resource Management or equivalent
• IHRP Certification Preferred
• Good knowledge of employment legislation (MOM Employment Act) and IRAS tax regulations
• Proficient in MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• High level of integrity and sensitivity in managing confidential information
• Strong people skills and ability to communicate effectively across different levels
• Good written English
• Initiative-taking and strong attention to details
• Knowledge of HRIS systems or similar will be an added advantage
• Able to start immediately is a plus
