These are challenging times, especially if you happen to be a Human Resource (HR) professional. Faced with a stagnating pace of growth, volatile environments and the pervasiveness of digitisation, HR professionals are expected more than ever to lead the change in organisations.
The Institute for Human Resource Professionals (IHRP) is a Human Resource professional body, set up by the tripartite partners: the Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF), Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC). We aim to strengthen the HR practice in Singapore to be a key enabler for enterprises and build-up a national capability to undertake human capital development. As the body tasked to implement the national HR certification framework, IHRP will commence operations to review and assess applications for IHRP Certification by July this year. Over time, IHRP aims to develop and support HR professionals to adopt progressive HR practices and facilitate greater participation by enterprises in employee development and recognition of skills. IHRP aims to achieve this in close collaboration and partnership with other organisations in the HR eco-system.
As we gear up to launch the IHRP Certification in July 2017, we will progressively make available more information. Do stay tuned on our webpage staging.ihrp.sg and on social media. You can also reach us at hello@ihrp.sg and we will be happy to address your queries.
I look forward to engaging with you to build a world-class HR community that will effect purposeful change for the people and organisations we serve.
Regards, Mayank
